Penny ("the App") is a personal finance application developed by JS Apps.
Your privacy is important. Penny is designed with a privacy-first and local-first approach, giving you full control over your financial data.
Penny does not collect, store, transmit, sell, rent, or share your personal information with the developer or any third party.
The App does not require account registration and does not collect information such as:
Financial information entered into Penny, including but not limited to:
is stored locally on your device and remains under your control.
The developer does not have access to this information.
If you choose to attach receipt images to transactions, those images are stored locally on your device.
Receipt images are never transmitted to the developer or third parties.
Penny may use Face ID or Touch ID provided by Apple to help protect access to your financial data.
Biometric information is processed entirely by Apple's operating system. Penny does not collect, store, or have access to biometric data.
Penny may provide options to create local backups of your data.
If you choose to use iCloud backup or synchronization features provided by Apple, your data may be stored within your personal iCloud account. Such storage and transmission are governed by Apple's privacy policies and security practices.
The developer does not have access to data stored in your iCloud account.

The App does not track how you use the application.
Penny is designed to operate without transmitting your financial information to external servers controlled by the developer.
If Apple services such as iCloud are used, those services are subject to Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
Penny uses the security features available on your device and operating system to help protect your information.
While reasonable measures are taken to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for maintaining backups of their data.
Your data remains stored on your device until you choose to delete it.
If you delete the App, locally stored data may also be removed unless it has been backed up through iCloud or another backup mechanism.
Penny is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
Any updates will be reflected by revising the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
